End of Trail is different and unique in many ways.

The entire house and property is your exclusive retreat situated on 3 private acres, your home away from home! Enjoy a home cooked complimentary breakfast, as well as an optional, restaurant quality catered dinner delivered to your door! Your hosts, Tom and Kim, live offsite but close enough to provide you with anything you may need during your stay. High speed internet for those that need to travel for work. Your fur babies are welcome at End of Trail. Families treasure End of Trail as the property is full of exciting games and fun for the whole family!

Encompassing 125,000 acres of the Cumberland Plateau, the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area protects the free-flowing Big South Fork of the Cumberland River and its tributaries. The area boasts miles of scenic gorges and sandstone bluffs, and endless adventures!

Enjoy beautiful hiking trails directly from your doorstep with incredible geological wonders! End of Trail Bed & Breakfast is the hub of all adventures, and your host is ready with pages of information on local venues and activities to make it a special retreat tailored to your desires!

For the horse lovers, we are also designed to accept and accommodate horses of our guests. First class accommodations for your equestrian guests, including large matted stalls, plenty of outside paddock space and biosecurity measures for their protection. This park is home to the stunning Northup Falls that drops 60 feet down into the rocky pool below. This natural area sprawls 165 acres and provides lovely views. Within the park, hikers can expect to see towering cliffs and fantastic rock houses. Any easy hike for all to enjoy and just miles from the property!

Explore the Trails and Landmarks of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area

The Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is one of the regions best-kept secrets. From Jamestown, start out at the Bandy Creek Visitor’s Center to uncover some of the great things to see and do in the park. The park offers natural arches, waterfalls and unforgettable scenic overlooks. Big South Fork is an awesome place to hike, bike or go horseback riding with miles extensive trails. If you are interested in history, there are several historic homesteads and even an abandoned mining community called Blue Heron.

Go Swimming at Pickett CCC Memorial State Park

This wonderful state park is filled with plenty of great amenities and adventures. From camping to canoeing, hiking and biking, Pickett CCC Memorial State Park is an excellent place to enjoy the natural landscape. The park has a 12-acre lake with a sandy beach and natural arch, leading to its name Arch Lake. To explore the lake more, be sure to rent a boat or canoe or bring our own. This state park was also one of the first state parks in the southeast to be certified as a dark sky preserve.

Historic Rugby

Step into the past and visit the charming historical town of Rugby. Tour the historical buildings, shop, hike, dine and take in events throughout the year.

Numerous events are celebrated in our area including the annual Allardt Pumpkin Festival, Sgt. Alvin York State Historic Park and Tennessee's oldest winery, Highland Manor Winery, just to name a few!
